Mont Blanc thus turned out to be the turning point of Squash’s life. Or rather somehow the realization that, from then on, she could make something out of her thirst for adventure. 

« When I climbed my first mountain, it was my passion, my hobby, and climbing mountains wasn’t what I did for a job. But as it went on I was trying to figure this entire thing out, I was like ‘OK, I’ve got these sports that I love doing, I like climbing mountains, I have my motorbike license and I love riding motorbikes, I’ve learned to fly a paraglider, but where do I go with that?’ I didn’t know how to make it into a career, I didn’t know how you made that into a job. »


Mont Blanc brought an answer to that.

 

 

 

« That really opened the door into the speaking world, because I did a lot of public speaking, I got content and footage that I was able to share with companies, clubs, schools, so since the age of 30 and this experience it kind of became a ‘proper job’. »


Two years later, she went from the highest mountain in Europe to the highest mountain in the world.

 

Everest, there she was.
